McDavid Scores First NHL Goal in 4-2 Loss to the Stars

The Edmonton Oilers Young Guns Conner McDavid scored his first NHL goal at 10:55 of the second period but lost to the Dallas Stars 4-2, as they were outshot 52-28. Oilers goaltender Anders Nilsson played stellar in goal but was unable to stem the tide as the Oilers lose their first three games of the season.

In the second period McDavid circled from the left half boards toward the center when Andrej Sekera shot from the blue line. McDavid spotted the puck and deftly tipped it in past the Dallas goaltenders glove to notch his first goal and give the Oilers a 2-2 tie.
